Repairs and rehabilitates dead/useless deep tube wells: making them suitable for irrigation.
Transferring modern irrigation technology to the farmer level to reduce irrigation costs.
Construction of paved irrigation canals, surface/underground, culverts, culverts, flumes, and discharge boxes in irrigation schemes.
Re-excavation/rehabilitation of connection canals/ drains and hill slopes and construction of cross-dam regulators, sluice gates, siphons, spillways, footbridges, etc. for use of surface water for irrigation and domestic purposes.
Imparting training to Irrigation Owners/Managers/Operators/Fieldmen/Farmers on Operation and Maintenance of Irrigation and Water Management.
Regular testing of groundwater and surface water quality to protect crops, livestock, and people from the effects of arsenic and other harmful elements.
Monitoring and informing the public of stable groundwater levels throughout the year by automated instruments.
Survey of irrigation equipment during irrigation season, monitoring of diesel and electricity situation.
